White Plains, NY (November 7, 2022) – Alexandra Sued, an associate with Fullerton Beck LLP, has been selected as one of the 2022 Westfair Communications Millennial + GenZ honorees. Sued is one of 14 accomplished individuals who will be celebrated at an event on November 16, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT.
This award celebrates the new era in the workforce of millennials and Gen Zers. It recognizes individuals who are leaving their mark on the technology and business communities of Westchester and Fairfield counties.
“Alex has been with the firm since its inception in 2018,” said Eileen R. Fullerton, managing partner of Fullerton Beck LLP. “Her drive and determination have enabled her to become an outstanding attorney and unrelenting advocate for her clients. We are proud of her accomplishments within and outside of the firm.”
Sued focuses her practice on general liability, with an emphasis on high-exposure New York Labor Law cases involving construction-related catastrophic accidents, wrongful death, and complicated medical issues.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Sued successfully navigated a challenging, circuitous journey to become a lawyer in New York, her lifelong ambition. She applies her legal acumen to her practice at Fullerton Beck and to impact the Dominican diaspora community as an ardent advocate for women’s rights, including assisting human rights organizations in affecting legal reform.
Additionally, Sued, who initially studied law in French and Spanish and passed the bar on her first attempt, provides pro bono tutoring services to foreign lawyers preparing for the New York bar exam, teaching them strategies she used to be successful.
Sued attended the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, where she earned her J.D. equivalent. She also obtained her LLM from the University of Manchester, U.K. and an LLM in Transnational Law from the University of Miami. She is OSHA-10 certified.
