While the holiday season is often dubbed the “Season of Giving,” for White Plains-based law firm, Fullerton Beck, the season of giving encompasses the entire year. And 2021 was no exception. The firm supported a variety of nonprofits, including:
Cancer Research & Support:
• American Cancer Society
• Family Reach
• Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
• Memorial Sloan Kettering
• Velocity: Columbia’s Ride to End Cancer
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion of Underserved Communities:
• Dominican Bar Association
• Equal Justice USA
• Girls Inc. of Westchester
• Northeast Region Black Law Students Association
• Dominican Parade of Brooklyn
Victims of Abuse and Underserved, Marginalized Populations
• First Steps to Heal
• Four Block
“We strongly believe in giving back to the community in which we live and work,” shared Katrine Aliha Beck, co-founder of Fullerton Beck. “Each year we identify organizations that fulfill our desire to help underserved communities and our diversity and inclusion efforts. These past two years, we’ve also focused our giving to organizations that help those particularly hard hit by COVID-19. Every little bit helps.”
The firm also contributed to Pace University and plans to have an ongoing relationship with the Northeast Black Law Students Association by offering internships to students. During the holiday season, the firm also donated food to Feeding Westchester and toys to Toys for Tots.
